Hotel Canal Grande

Overlooking the famous Canal from which it draws its name, with a small terrace and a private landing, facing the other a typical small square with a shaft , the Hotel Grand Canal is the ideal starting point to discover the Venice of the eighteenth century, the century that made it famous throughout the courts of Europe and 'East.

Restored from a 18th century palazzo sited in the heart of the popular district of Santa Croce, completely renovated, this charming hotel has been fully furnished with elegant briar furniture, mirrors and Murano glass, wood Rezzonico style floors, elegant tapestries and velvets to offer guests the opportunity to soak up the atmosphere of an eighteenth century Venetian house.

Reception, breakfast room and bar are located on the ground floor overlooking the Grand Canal. In the summer you can sip an aperitif /drink in our charateristic courtyard.

The 22 rooms of which fifteen are located in the main building and seven in the San Simeon residence, just 20 meters away, each inspired by famous personalities of the Venetian 18th century or characteristic glimpse of the city in order to better guide visitors on this trip back in time, when the kindness and professionalism of our staff will be a safe and valuable assistance.
